    WEIRD BUT TRUE NEWS

Four people were arrested last week trying to make a porn video in a Japanese McDonald's -- in full view of other customers! One of the eyewitnesses said he called cops because "there was one young woman surrounded by all those much older guys, so I thought something fishy was going on." Actor Yura Ochai was caught red-handed with his hand up the skirt of actress Nahoko Shimada -- while seated at a corner table out of sight of counter workers. One porn industry insider told the Mainichi Daily News, "Filming that way is basically like screaming out to the cops, 'Hey, come and arrest me.'"--originally reported by the Mainichi Daily News

Two women in Washington State contacted authorities last week to claim they'd been sexually assaulted by ghosts. The women initially reported the assaults to the maintenance man at their apartment complex, but he sent them to cops who contacted a local "ghost hunter." The paranormal expert said he couldn't immediately confirm the otherworldly activities, saying "A lot of times you'll find it might be medications that they're taking or something psychological."--originally reported by the Seattle Times

A religious beekeeper in Serbia has started making beehives shaped like tiny monasteries and churches because he believes that "bees have a soul too." Slobodan Jeftic, who has modeled all of his hives after famed Orthodox shrines, says "It means that as well as taking care of my bees so that they have a place to live and make their honey, I am also taking care of their souls."-- originally reported by Glas Javnosti [Serbia]

A woman who told police that the devil was driving her car after she killed a mother and daughter has been cleared of causing vehicular manslaughter in Leicester [pr: lester], England last year. It took a jury only 15 minutes to acquit Gemma Montanero, who testified, "Somebody had their foot on my foot and their hand on my hand -- it wasn't me driving, it was Satan." No word on whether Beelzebub will stand trial next.-- originally reported by the B-B-C.
